Hi! I'm Heather!
I am a Taurus married to my Aquarius husband. We have two beautiful daughters who are starseeds. My youngest who is 15 and a Cancer, and her sister, 16 and an Aries, are both homeschooled. I have great relationships with both and feel so blessed that they chose me as their mother. I have two fur babies: a West Highland Terrier named Ice and a Scottish Terrier named Denzel.
I love to travel all over the world learning about other cultures, to practice yoga (I taught yoga for nearly a decade), to connect with Mother Earth, to work in the garden, to read, to watch movies, and to cook. I am obsessed with animal totems and notice/study the pure messages they deliver from Spirit every day. Angel and repeating numbers intrigue and guide me. One of my bucket list items is to visit all the earth’s chakra centers. So far, I have been inside the Great Pyramid in Egypt and plan to visit Lake Titicaca in Peru in June 2024.
My Journey
I have been progressing to this point in my life since 2013. That was the start of a big shift into holistic health which led me to alternative healing modalities. I became very sick. I went to numerous specialists, and no one could definitively conclude what was wrong with me. One specialist would say a virus, another would say an autoimmune disease, and another would say a type of bacterial infection. They were all over the place and just those three examples are extremely different protocols. Each one had their own special cocktail of prescriptions that I was to take. Nothing worked, so I knew I was on the wrong path! I decided to put my Biomedical Science degree to work and do my own research. I took myself off all prescriptions and convinced a couple of doctors to do certain tests. Together, that led us to pinpoint my virus and deficiencies.
My first “ah-ha” moment was at a natural health symposium in Arcadia, MO. I was listening to a lecture on essential oils by the late Dr. David Stewart, and he literally used the same words describing what cedarwood oil does to the body as what my doctor concluded was deficient in my body. It was a sign. Dr. Stewart suggested that people try Raindrop Therapy Massage. There was a Raindrop practitioner at the symposium who was giving these massages right there. I immediately left the unfinished lecture to sign-up for a Raindrop massage. It was EUPHORIA! I hadn’t felt that good in months and it lasted for 3 weeks. I was on to something.
This is where the wheel of fate started to really turn. I cleaned up my diet by eating organic, fresh, whole foods, cleansed my body, added a self-care routine every night, used essential oils, and took supplements to satisfy my deficiencies. I started studying the connection of trauma and emotions stored in our bodies to the physical ailments they manifested. You should see my book collection! It took about a year to heal. I started attending essential oil classes learning about Raindrop therapy, emotional release, vitaflex, the organic chemistry of oils, etc. My favorite was History of Anointing with Oils & Laying on of Hand. I even taught others about the oils of the Bible for a while. I incorporated these healing techniques into our family. The miracles that were seen with my family were mind-blowing. As a family, we haven’t taken prescriptions since 2013. It is important to me to keep my body clean and uninhibited so the energy can flow freely.
As my body became cleaner, my intuition grew stronger. I kept getting signs that a message was waiting for me. After months of contemplation, I decided to see a psychic that reached out to me via Facebook. This was a serious decision for me because my religion at the time preached that this was “evil.” I decided to go, and I got my messages!!! It was profound. The flywheel really started to gain momentum after this. I was clearing my chakras, cutting cords, creating vision boards, and now having two-way conversations with Spirit.
Here are a few terms that other healers, psychics, and teachers use to describe me:
At a divine feminine New Year’s vision board party, I pulled the Mary Magdalene oracle card. It was a reminder. I used to study her relentlessly 15 years earlier. I read every book about her that I could get my hands on. This reignited that passion and led again to reading new books about her, which led to the Gospels of Nag Hammadi, which in turn led to studying Yeshua (Jesus) and his studies with the Essenes. It guided me to focus on a life of balance, particularly with the divine masculine and feminine. I had to bring that divine feminine energy into my life. I had to practice self-love. I had to connect with my heart instead of my mind. Once I started practicing and incorporating these teachings into my daily life, I realized that this is how to truly ascend. I left the religion that I had been raised and practiced in. I now consider myself to be a Gnostic Christian. You can see how I got the name of my business, “Emerald” from being a May baby and “Gnosis” from practicing Gnosticism.
I believe that all religions have a consistent, main mantra; therefore, it makes no difference to me what you do or do not practice. I believe in free will and respect all faiths.
The laying on of hands kept calling me, and one day I met a Reiki teacher whose energy really tugged at my heartstrings. I signed up for her classes. Within two years, I acquired the Reiki Master certification and again practiced on family, friends, and most of all myself. Her Master class was one year long. I met so many amazing souls who inspired and taught me so much. In one of those classes, someone looked at me and suggested that I investigate my past lives. At that moment, I realized that I never formed an opinion on reincarnation. I decided to put a message out to the universe and said, “If You want me to know about past lives, if I even have any, please bring me that information if it was for my highest good.” Well, be careful how and what you ask for because it did. Slowly at first, but one after another those times and experiences started to come into focus through memories or when I would visit with mediums.
The next shift occurred when I took a spiritual trip to Egypt. My intuition told me that I would be doing a ton of energy work on this trip, so I abstained from meat and performed Reiki on myself every night. Whoa! Day after day was another past life experience. It was emotional, raw, and beautiful. I had some of my biggest growth in just those two weeks. If it wasn’t activated before, my kundalini energy or torus would be activated now. I could literally feel it vibrate up and down my spine. My vibration was so high when I came back from that trip that my computer and phone would glitch when I tried to use them. My daughter asked me to change the light bulb in her salt lamp, and two bulbs exploded in my hand (no, I was not hurt thank goodness) before I finally suggested that either we wait, or she would have to get someone else to help her.
My most recent shift was during my breathwork facilitator training and certification. I received an email regarding this training and just knew that this was my next step. I had a similar experience regarding my vibration when I returned from the initial in-person, week-long training in Sedona, AZ. I continued to practice and complete my certification, adding another healing modality to my quiver and to my life. It has broken down barriers that were so magnanimous that it has been a very liberating experience.
As I continue to incorporate these modalities and the laws of the universe into my life, as well as focus on raising my vibration, my connection to Spirit and the unseen realm grow tremendously.
